BELLY 2: MILLIONAIRE BOYZ CLUB

BELLY 2: MILLIONAIRE BOYZ CLUB
Director: Ivan Frank
Starring: The Game, Shari Headley

Whoever thought Belly 2 was a good idea was sadly mistaken, most likely having to reprove themselves as a thinker muchless a movie maker.

Belly 2: Millionaire Boyz Club stars west coast rapper The Game as 'G' who, for just a minute, wants to walk the straight and narrow after doing 8 years behind bars. But all of that changes once his longtime friend Tyrone' behavior wears off placing him back in the thick of things.

Unfortunately, Belly 2 set in the streets of South Central, falls short of its original counterpart Belly. The wonderful part of Belly was the extraordinary cinematography used to match the characters of the storyline. While Belly 2 is dry and lifeless. Even with experienced actress Shari Headley playing opposite love interest of 'G', the film still misses its target completely.

Even more awful was the reference to G-Unit which The Game is well-known to have a long standing opposition with. Not sure why director Ivan Frank decided to implement that bit of drama into the character 'G'. Hopefully not for publicity.
