Another bring it on film... like that is a surprise. Back for
a fifth time, Bring It On: Fight to the Finish stars singer Christina Milian
as Lina Cruz, who is head cheerleader at East L.A. High School. She along
with the rest of her squad are hoping to make it to this years Spirit
Championships to take home the title. But Cruz' dreams are nestled back to
reality when she wakes from her dreams to find her mom has remarried and
moving to rich, sunny Malibu we're life is a lot different than what she is
used to. As she reluctantly leaves the life she loves behind, Lina tries to
combine the best of both worlds. But will she do without fail?
Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, compared to the third and
fourth versions of the franchise is truly living up to the standard of the
'Bring It On' name. This time, the storyline incorporates several ethnic
backgrounds. The cast of characters are all randomly placed which hints on
the line of realism with today's world as high schools, even in suburban
areas have a mixture of Cuban, Caucasian and African American students that
all interact peacefully without hate or racism; dismissing rumors and
stereotypes that can cause relationships to divide before having a chance to
culminate.
The fifth installment however does mimic 'Bring It On: All or
Nothing' as they also found themselves leaving high society Pacific Vista
for the urbanosity of Crenshaw High. Although in vice versa, the
storyline is still quite obvious lacking originality in structure.

Regardless, the film touches on the matters that most teens
deal with such as confidence, acceptance and love all play an important role
in their molding. It also includes great music from Lady Gaga, The Veronicas
as well as Christina Milian. Definitely a winner and must to purchase.
