The story of Feel The Noise with the
back drop of Harlem was recipe for
success. Starting out with Rob played by
Omarion Grandberry doing what he had to
do to survive and by making that choice
it could have cost him his life. After
his mother (Kellita Smith) being a
witness to her only child almost being
killed she makes the decision of doing
what she felt was right for him instead
of what he wants. She decides to send
him away to live in Puerto Rico with a
father he never met.
This movie was both inspiring and
entertaining leaving a message that you
can over come. You don't have to be a
product of your neighborhood. Dream
outside of the box, stick to your
talents although it might be difficult
at times but the end result will pay off
with hard work and determination. Taping
in on the emotions of Rob's character
that many of the youth can identify with
love, happiness, anger and accomplished.
Feel The Noise showed the realistic side
to beginning a career in the music
industry.
The acting was good and it had a story
line that would appeal to all! With all
that the youth have to face in today's
society verses when we were younger we
need more movies like this that will
leave a positive message.
With the beats and lyrics your feeling
the music as it tells a story. Although
he (Grandberry) had many obstacles come
into his life he never left sight of his
dreams. His muse and love interest CC (Zulay
Henao) was an important part in his
success as well as his half brother.
He also develops a relationship with his
father whom he never knew, once they
find a common ground which is music.
Music makes connections and brings
people together.
There was not to much put into costuming
because this film clearly concentrated
on the importance of today..which is the
youth. How they're struggling to be a
part of today's society. In the streets
of New York it's survival of the
fittest!
Delighted that our youth are not
forgotten as someone tells a story in
which they'll be able to relate to. The
producers did an excellent job of
reaching out to tomorrow's future.
