Oh my God. He quotes Young Jeezy (The World is mine). Dude got guts man. Guts!

Whether you’re a child of a superstar or married to one; it pretty much guarantees the deal. Maybe not the success but money talks, so you’ll get to work with the best. No one is going to turn down good money. Even if you’re America’ Most Hated like Kevin Federline, who’s been under consistent fire from marrying pop royalty Britany Spears. His previous relationship with Moesha actress Shar Jackson resulted in 2 children; one being born while he actually left Shar for Britany. Not so much for Shar, but Kevin and Britany has been the ‘butt’ of every joke possible.

But enough background. Here’s the 411.

‘Playing with Fire’ definitely has the best bangin’ beats Brittany’ money can buy. Kevin plays the game very well by not disrespecting any rapper (Eminem). He plays it smart by complementing and makes positive referrals to Young Jeezy and Santana (Ight!).

Keeping with the stereotypical vibe of hip hop, despite the black-tinted SRT he stunts, Kevin refers to his weed smoking habits and portrays a rough life that is still contingent with what is happening now.

His lyrics aren’t the most clever and he is certainly not trying to emulate Common or Talib Kwali with ‘lyrical content’ on a higher level but, yeah, there’s a ‘good’ but here; the lines make sense and it flows nicely to the beat which for the most part reflects 50. You know… stripper beats but not much to say except a clever line or 2?

Overall, this 50:06 / 14 track album, including Middle Finger; a hidden track; is pretty impressive for a first run. Favorites are Caught Up; were Kev talks about having a rap sheet and difficulties in a relationship (5 years… must be Shar). And Dance with a Pimp which is exactly what audiences would say Britany did; you know... according to Kevin' $65,000 a week allowance.

With his 4 kids and 2 baby mamas; along with his lifestyle and career based on a women’ back; I’d say Kevin Federline fits into the rap game quite well. Hopefully with increasing bad publicity, his album sales will rise and maybe Brittany won’t have to pay his child support.
